Curtis Douglas Moore

Mr. Curtis Douglas Moore, 54, of Joy Road, Harlem, GA, formerly of Hartwell, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at University Hospital in Augusta.

Curtis was born in Royston on May 12, 1965, son of Douglas MacArthur Moore and Jenelle Carnes Moore. He was employed in the construction industry and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Curtis enjoyed hunting and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors, in addition to his parents of Hartwell, include his companion, Chelly Johnson of Harlem; sister, Kelly and Brad McCollum of Vanna; four nephews; two nieces; one great-niece; and his faithful fur baby, Snowball.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Carey Moore.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held 3PM, Sunday June 23, at the Bethesda United Methodist Church of Hartwell. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM just before the service at Bethesda United Methodist Church.
