Cynthia Lynn "Cindy" Simmons Swilling

Cynthia Lynn "Cindy" Simmons Swilling, 56, of 220 Cedar Street, Elberton, died Monday, October 8, 2012, at her residence. Born in McComb, Mississippi, October 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Helen Hutson and the late Kenneth Simmons. She attended Elberton Church of God. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Duggar and Joanna Swilling and Stephanie Swilling, all of Elberton; mother, Helen Hutson of Houma, Louisiana; former husband, Presley Gene Swilling; grandchildren, Logan Peters, Casey Peters, Aaiden Swilling, Parker Adams, and Emily Adams; siblings, Teresa Ferriera, Linda Black, and Jimmy Simmons, all of Houma Louisiana, and Emmett Simmons of Lipscomb, Alabama; eight nephews; and five nieces. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 13, at 2PM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Emmett Simmons officiating. Cindy's wishes were to be cremated. The Swilling family will receive friends immediately following the service.
