Dallas Dean Abendroth

Mr. Dallas Dean Abendroth, 78, Elberton, husband of 57 years to Charlotte Ellen Bisset Abendroth, went to be with Lord on Monday, June 22, 2020, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Dallas was born in Effingham, Illinois on August 4, 1941, son of the late Dean Steele Abendroth and Electa Elina Lee Abendroth. He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church in Maryland and attended Falling Creek Baptist Church in Elberton. Dallas and Charlotte served the Lord faithfully as missionaries in Kenya and Uganda, Africa for many years. During this time, he served as a teacher and school principal, as well as a part of Uganda Baptist Seminary.

In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he is survived by his sons: James Abendroth and his wife Christy of Ohio and David Abendroth and his wife Camellia of Indiana; grandchildren: Abigail, Deborah, Jillian, Kenna, and Ian; siblings: Noble Abendroth and Leah Mae Caldwell.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held at Falling Creek Baptist Church at a day and time to be announced.
