Darlene Griffin West

Mrs. Ruby 'Darlene' Griffin West, 68, of Eliam Road, Elberton, wife of the late Ronald Lee West, Sr., passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. West was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 13, 1946, to the late Albert Lee Griffin, Sr. and Edna Daniel Griffin. She was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and her four-legged companion, Rex. Left to cherish her memories are sons: Daryl West and his wife Brandy and Ronnie West, all of Elberton; siblings: Albert Lee Griffin, Jr. and Kim Griffin Hoerr, both of Maryland; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, February 26, at 7:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family is at the residence of Daryl and Brandy West, 2357 Eliam Road, Elberton, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00p.m. until time for the service on Thursday evening.
