Daryl Lynn Sims

Mr. Daryl Lynn "Meathead" Sims, 62, of Andrew Dr. Washington, GA passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Sims was born September 18, 1958 in Atlanta, GA to Ernie Hartfield Sims and Gracie Mae Jordan Sims. He worked with Hertz Rental Car since the age 18.

He is survived by daughter: Karnetta J. Sims of Washington, GA, son: Dakota Sims of East Point, GA, fiancé: Jonah Strickland, brother: Ben Jordan of Jonesboro, GA and nine grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six siblings.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 2:30PM, July 10, 2021 at Gus Thornhill's Chapel,1315 Gus Thornhill Jr. Drive East Point, GA 30344.
