David Charles Chandler

Mr. David Charles Chandler, 58, of Hartwell, Georgia passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Chandler was born in Elberton, Georgia to Caroline Mize Chandler and the late Charles Edward Chandler. David is survived by his wife, Mitzi Mills Chandler of 36 years; son, Chuck Chandler (Mimi) of Athens; brother, Paul Chandler (Sandra) of Hartwell ; sister, Mae Plyler (Bucky) of Canon; his mother, Caroline Chandler of Bowman; and several nieces & nephews. A memorial service to celebrate David’s life was held at the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home on Sunday,June 29, 2014. Memorials may be made to Athens Regional Foundation, 1199 Prince Avenue, Athens, Georgia, 30606, and designated to The Guest House in memory of David C. Chandler.
