David Burch Harbert

Mr. David Burch Harbert, 52, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Mr. Harbert was the son of the late James Burch and Lilly Maxwell Harbert.He was married for over 33 years to his wife, Sylvia Salyers Harbert.Mr. Harbert worked in the granite business as a stone cutter for Keystone Granite Company. In addition to his wife, Sylvia, Mr. Harbert is survived by a daughter, Amanda Harbert; and a son, David Harbert.He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Brendon Harbert, Heather Harbert, and Trevor Harbert.Mr. Harbert was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Ann Harbert, and a brother, James Harbert. A service to celebrate Mr. Harbert’s life was held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.A time of visitation for family and friends was Friday, February 7, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home.Interment followed at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.
