David Ray Prevatte

David Ray Prevatte, 65, of 485 Norman Road, Hartwell, husband of Judith Perdue Marrett, passed away Saturday morning, December 10, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Prevatte was born in Tennessee, March 15, 1946, to the late William and Zittie Turner Prevatte. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a retired truck driver. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Judith Perdue Marrett; one daughter, Staci; four step-children, Grant Mason Marrett, Adam Quincy Marett, Jason Bradley Marett, and Heidi Nicole Finley, all of Hartwell; siblings, Mary Louise Christian of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Obie Daniel Holmes of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Bobby Prevatte of Rock HIll, South Carolina; and nine grandchildren. The family has chosen cremation, and memorial services will be held at his residence at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.berryfh.com.
