David Scarborough

Mr. Denver David Scarborough, 76, of Washington Hwy. Elberton, GA passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at his home.

Mr. Scarborough was born August 9, 1946 in Elberton, GA to Luther Scarborough and Sallie Kate Lovinggood Scarborough. He was a member of the Elberton Church of God and was a retired stone cutter in the granite industry.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Denise Scarborough of Elberton, GA, daughter: Jan Scarborough of Elberton, GA; sister: Christine Mobley of Mableton, GA, grandchildren: Ayden Scarborough, Cody and Felicia Scarborough, Alex and Raechel Scarborough and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Debby Ray Scarborough; and siblings: Kathleen Peppers, Sidney Scarborough and Annie Bell Leard.

Funeral services to celebrate David’s life will be held 3PM, Thursday, March 30 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Fife officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.

The family are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2PM to 3PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
