Dean Alvin Dye

Mr. Dean Alvin Dye, 47, of Dr. George Ward Rd. Elberton, GA passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014. Mr. Dye was born November 21, 1966 in Elberton, GA to Harold F. Dye, Jr. and the late Patricia Tankersley Dye. He was a member of Eliam United Methodist Church and was a clerk for Circle-K and currently attending college at Augusta State University studying Psychology. Left to cherish his memories are his father Harold F. Dye, Jr. of Elberton, GA; brother and sister-in-law Dwayne Allen and Donna Dye of Hartwell, GA. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a sister Suzanne Dye. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held Monday, September 8, at 5PM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Emily Case officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Mark McCall, Eric Dixon, Tyron Yeargin, Russell Dye, Ron Dye and Brandon Dye serving as pallbearers. The family will be at the home 2470 Dr. George Ward Rd. Elberton and will receive friends from 4-5PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his honor to Eliam United Methodist Church 2130 Dr. George Ward Rd. Elberton, GA 30635.
