Delmus Franklin Metz

Mr. Delmus Franklin Metz, 70, of Riverfront Lane, Carnesville, GA husband of Robbie Chambers Metz passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home. Mr. Metz was born July 6, 1945 in Tunnelton, W.VA to the late Delbert Metz and Virginia Maxine Sigley Metz. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Carnesville, a U.S. Marine veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was retired from Superior Trailers in Danielsville, GA. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of the home Robbie Chambers Metz; sons Delbert Metz of Buford, GA; Rocky Wayne Metz of Taylorsville, KY; siblings Gardenia Wilcox of W.VA; Bill Metz of Oconee, GA; Dallas Metz of Akron, OH; George Metz of Milledgeville, GA; Kay of W.VA; Henry Metz of Reedsville, W.VA; Joe Metz of Grafton, W.VA; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Davis Metz and Charles Metz. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 10AM, Saturday, August 15 at Liberty Baptist Church in Carnesville with Rev. Todd West officiating.
