Denise Guest Erwin

Mrs. Denise Guest Erwin, 51, of Jaudon Road, Elberton, wife of 26 years to William Alton "Billy" Erwin, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Erwin was born on April 25, 1963, to Frances Rousey Guest and the late Thomas Emory Guest. She was a secretary at Farm Bureau Insurance and a member of New Town Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her husband of the home; daughter, Ashley Erwin Hampton and her husband John of Elberton; step-children: Tim Erwin of Elberton and Tabitha Erwin of Conway, SC; mother, Frances Rousey Guest of Elberton; sister, Donna Guest Duncan and her husband Dennis of Elberton; and grandchildren: Megan Hatton, Ethan Webb, EmmaRae Hampton, Cody Erwin, Cheslie Erwin, Caleb Erwin, William Erwin, Brody Erwin, and Grayson Erwin. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Debra Guest Callaway. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, October 28, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. John Guest officiating. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Sunday evening. The family respectfully request no flowers.
