Dennis Dewayne Harrell

Mr. Dennis Dewayne Harrell, 47, of S. Jackson Street, Hartwell, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

Dennis was born in Pahokee, Florida on December 2, 1972, son of James Richard Harrell, Sr. and Rhonda Diane Hall Foster. He was a welder by trade and of the Pentecostal faith. Dennis enjoyed hunting and wishing and was an avid woodworker.

He is survived by his son, Alex White of New York; mother, Rhonda Foster of Bowman; father, James and Patricia Harrell of Bowman; siblings: Joey Walter Harrell (Tina) of Carnesville, James Richard Harrell, Jr. (Sonya Black) of Comer, James Christopher Harrell (Kristina) of Union Point, Robert Wayne Cherry (Jessica) of Zebulon, and Ashley Wright (Brad Taylor) of Suches; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, December 16, at 6 o’clock at Bowman Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Petty officiating.

The family is at their respective homes.
