Dewayne Bridges

Troy DeWayne Bridges, 45, of 1221 Ruckersville Road, Elberton, GA passed away Wednesday June 22, 2011at his home. Born in Royston, GA on April 27, 1966, he was a son of the late William Troy Bridges and the late Merle Inez Wells Bridges. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed by the City of Elberton and worked in the Cemetery Department for 26 years. Left to cherish his memories are his sister and brother-in-law Sherrie and Benson Stone of Canon, GA; brother and sister-in-law Grady Thomas and Patsy Bridges of Royston, GA; and three nieces Madison Stone, Hannah Bridges, and Samantha Wood. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held Saturday June 25, at 11AM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday night at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Ronald Mooney, Mike Bridges, Steve Bridges, Lloyd Ivester, James Layton, Richard Garner, and Clifford Gardner.
