Dewey Lee Mckern

Mr. Dewey Lee McKern, 71, of Pleasant Hill Cr. Martin, GA passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at his home.

Mr. McKern was born March 22, 1948 in Royston, GA to Loyd D. McKern and Jonnie Mae Clark McKern. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from the steel industry.

He is survived by his significant other: Joy Lanette Eskew McKern; daughter: Kemberly Copeland of Anderson, SC, siblings: Janie M. Byrum of Hartwell, GA, Bobbie M. Gaines of Bowersville, GA; Polly M. Shirley of AL; three grandchildren: Zachary, Auston, Blayze Copeland and one great-grandchild: Ella Rae Copeland.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter: Sheri Renee McKern and siblings: Lloyd McKern, Robert Mckern, Louise M. Jones and Betty McKern.

Mr. McKern was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
