Dianne Hanley Riley, age 68, of Lavonia, formerly of Danielsville, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her home.
Born August 11, 1947, in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Evelyn (Winfrey) Hanley. She was a cosmetologist. Mrs. Riley was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands: Guy Peterman and Joe Riley; daughter: Sherri Jo Poole; brother: Kenneth Hanley; and brother-in-law: Jerry Mason.
She is survived by her granddaughters: Riley Dutton and Wade, Annsley Davis and Justin Brown, and Braylee Poole; great-grandson: Davis Dutton; siblings: Sandra Mason, Larry Hanley and Marie, Carol Ingram and Sam, and Gary Hanley and Mary; and sister-in-law: Donna Hanley.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
Flowers are optional or donations may be made to defray funeral expenses.
