Donald Edward Adams

Mr. Donald Edward "Don" Adams, 67, resident of Country Manor Personal Care Home, Tignall, former longtime resident of Crestview Drive, Elberton, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 15, 1949, in Louisville, GA, Don was the son of the late E.F. and Annie Lillian Gaines Adams. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elberton, and a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

He is survived by his brother, John Adams and his wife Judi of Newnan; two nephews; two great-nephews; three great-nieces; one great-great-niece; and a host of cousins and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Johnny Alfred and Izota Baker Adams and Richard Strother, Sr. and Esetll Lena Cochran Gaines.

Graveside services will be held 11AM, Thursday, August 18, 2016, in Elmhurst Cemetery with Dr. Wallace Wheeles officiating.
