Donald E. Scales

Mr. Donald E. Scales, Jr., 58, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia. Mr. Scales was the son of the late Donald Scales and Blanche Saylors Scales Burden.He worked as a polisher in the granite business. Mr. Scales is survived by three daughters, Amanda Moon, Amber Jones, and Ashely Willis; and numerous grandchildren.He also leaves behind a brother, Robert “Pete” Scales, of Elberton.Donald was just recently preceded in death by a sister, Terri Dawana Burden. The family has chosen cremation, and services may be planned for a later date. Arrangements for Mr. Donald E. Scales are in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
