Donna Thompson Phillips

Mrs. Donna Thompson Phillips, 66, of Robinwood Lane, Elberton, GA wife of Ronald Phillips passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Donna was born July 18, 1958 in Elberton, GA to Clyde S. Thompson and Valerie Ruff Thompson. She was a member of Believers Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Her love for helping people and the elderly previously led to working at Petersburg Towers for 14 years. In Donna’s spare time she enjoyed network shopping and participating on social media. Christmas season was her favorite time of the year where she would love to decorate. Donna will be greatly missed being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years: Ronald Phillips, children: Andrea Purl Cocke of Elberton, Matthew and Brandy of Cumming, Kristen Cocke Phillips and Josh Worley of Elberton, her mother: Valerie Ruff Thompson of Elberton, brother and sister-in-law: Mike and Phyllis Thompson of Elberton, sister and brother-in-law: Deborah and Lee Edwards of Elberton, grandchildren: Taylen Cocke, Isaiah Cocke, Gabbie Cocke, Maria Cocke, Michael Cocke, Maeleigh Agnew, Peyton Agnew, Maggie Worley, Amelia Worley, Abigail Worley, Emma Worley, Corey Hugely, Christina and Danny Scott, great-grandchildren: Ryan Cocke, Zyler Anderson, Axel Moore, Brooklyn Huguley and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Clyde S. Thompson and grandchild Noah Manual Cocke.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 1PM, Wednesday, September 4 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Fife and Rev. Tim Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 12PM to 1PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
