Mrs. Doris Patton Reagin, 97, of Oglethorpe County, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Quiet Oaks Health Care Center in Crawford, Georgia. Mrs. Reagin was born January 8, 1918 in Oglethorpe County to the late Joe Thomas and Ada Tiller Patton.She was the widow of Samuel A. Reagin, and a member of Glade United Methodist Church . Mrs. Reagin is survived by two sisters: Jonell Steele and Hilda Patton, both of Comer; and a special niece: Louise P. Yearwood of Lexington.She also leaves behind four morenieces and three nephews. In addition to her husband, Samuel Reagin, Mrs. Reagin was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Patton and Thomas Patton;two sisters, Frances Headspeth and Gertrude Patton;and a niece, Margaret Munday. A service to celebrate Mrs. Reagin’s life was held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glade United Methodist Church in Carlton, with Rev. Doug Bower officiating.Visitation was at 1:00 p.m. just prior to the service.Interment followed in the church cemetery.
