Dorothy Marie Kemp

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Pearce Kemp, 97, of Hartwell, formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, wife of the late Fredrick Andrew Kemp, Sr., passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Kemp was born in Punxsutawney, PA on August 6, 1922, daughter of the late Warren and Bessie Neal Pearce. She was a retired bookkeeper, a member of Albright United Methodist Church, and attended Hartwell First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Dennis Moore of Hartwell; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sons: Fredrick Andrew Kemp, Jr. and George Warren Kemp; and siblings: Warren Pearce, Jr., Harold Pearce, and Ruby Harrold.

Memorial services will be held at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg at a day and time to be announced.
