Eddielu Jones Nash

EddieLu Jones Nash, 89, of 1490 Washington Hwy. Elberton widow of the late Rayford H. Nash died Friday May 7, 2010. Born in Wilkes County she was a daughter of the late Thomas G. Jones and Lizzie Mae Smith Jones. She was a member of Eliam United Methodist Church Building Fund, and retired from Elberton Mills. Survivors include nieces and nephew Kay Rhodes, Marsha Madden, and Dennis Jones all of Elberton. She was preceded in death by a brother Carroll S. Jones. Funeral services will be held Monday May 10, at 4PM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Privett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will be at the home 1490 Washington Hwy. and will receive friends from 2-4PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Jonathan Rhodes, Dennis Jones, Franklin Whitworth, Marcus Bonds, Chris Berry, and Waymon Worley. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in her honor to Eliam United Methodist Church or to T.J. and Friends Cancer Foundation.
