Edith Jean Maxwell

Edith Jean Maxwell, 64, of 2819 Harwood Street, Hephizbah, Georgia, passed away Friday morning, December 9, 2011, in the Trinity Hospital of Augusta. Miss Maxwell was born in Elbert County, August 24, 1947, to the late Julius Bond Maxwell and Lottie Bond Maxwell. Left to cherish her memories are one sister, Camilla Bailey of Hartwell. Graveside services celebrating her life will be held at 2PM Monday, December 12, in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Kendrick officiating. The family is at the home of Camilla Bailey, 210 Sunnybrook Lane, Hartwell, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 12-1:30PM Monday prior to the service. Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made in her honor to Unity Baptist Church, 105 Unity Church Road, Starr, South Carolina 29684-9171.
