Mr. Edward Brown, 82, of Wahatchee Creek Road, Elberton, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at his residence.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Roshell Huff Brown. To this union was born 6 children; Kenneth (Brenda) of Elberton, GA, Sheral (Henry) Lee of Lexington, GA, Billy (Fredia) Brown, Ira (Michelle) Brown, Cynthia Brown all of Elberton, GA and Douglas Brown who preceded him in death.

Surviving siblings are James Brown, Jimmy Brown, Christine Fortson, Alice Teasley and Beatrice Brown all of Elberton, GA and preceding him in death are Albert Brown, Jr., Charles Brown, Otis Brown, Cora Lee Cureton, Estelle Brown Calhoun, Mamie Lou Brown, Inell Brown and Lula Jane Teasley.

Edward has 16 grandchildren, over 32 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He worked from sun up to sun down. He was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. He was respected as a father by many others and he always kept that wonderful smile on his face all the way to the end. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2PM, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
