Edward Willis Sammons

Mr. Edward Willis Sammons, 52, of Cotton St. Commerce, GA passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Sammons was born January 17, 1965 in Waynesboro, GA to George Willis Sammons and Vivian Shepard Sammons. He was a long haul truck driver.

He is survived by a son: Eddie Sammons of Cleveland, GA; his companion of 22 years: Anita Massey of Commerce, GA; brothers: Tim and Beverly Sammons, Wayne and Deborah Sammons, and sisters: Deborah and Cindy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Phillip.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
