Edwin Burdette Hill, Jr.

Edwin Burdette Hill, Jr., 67, of 357 Norman Road, Tignall, husband of Katherine Lynch Hill, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hill was born in Rochester, New York, March 6, 1945, to the late Edwin Burdette Hill, Sr. and Eleanor Price Hill. He was a Computer Programmer for Equifax, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and of the Methodist faith. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Katherine Lynch Hill of the home; son, Craig HIll of Tignall; brother, Leslie Hill of Buford; sister, Jane Hughs of Sacramento, California; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter. The family has chosen cremation and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
