Mrs. Effie Mae Rucker Willingham, 92, of Dr. George Ward Rd. Elberton passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019.

Mrs. Willingham was born May 9, 1927 in Birmingham, AL to Gene Rucker and Mattie Huff Rucker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Elberton and was retired from Elberton Poultry.

She is survived by her sons: Robert Burton, Jr., Willie Frank Burton, Cad Gene Burton all of Elberton, GA; daughter: Winnie Mae Willis of Elberton, GA, thirty-five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and thirty great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Willingham, son: James Henry Burton, daughter: Linda Brown and all of her siblings.

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 3PM, Sunday, June 23 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Malissa McElroy officiating. The family is at the home of Winnie Mae Willis, 1055 Country Manor Lane, trailer 16 Elberton, GA and will receive friends Sunday from 2-3PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
