Born in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Louise Owensby Wofford and the late William "Bill" Bray. She was a member of Elberton Pentecostal Holiness Church, a homemaker, and a past Lady Auxiliary for Elbert Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband of the home Billy Walker Rucker, daughters Melissa Hall, and Suzanne Libby, a step-daughter Patricia Drake, her mother Louise Owensby Wofford, sisters Trell Wilson, and LouAnn David, brothers Jimmy Bray, Curtis Wofford, and Clay Wofford, grandchildren Luke Hall, and Madelyn Libby, a step-grandchild Jared Beckham. She was preceded in death by a sister Jane Watson. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 28, at 2PM at The Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 12-2PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Flowers are optional and Memorials may be made in her honor to Elberton Pentecostal Holiness Church.
