Elijah Roy Emmett

Elijah Roy Emmett, 17 year old son of Michael and Ronda Gordon Emmett, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at his residence in Royston.

Besides his parents, Elijah is survived by his siblings: Caleb Emmett of Athens, Alyssa Emmett, Stephen Emmett, Lukas Emmett, Bailee Grace Emmett, and Isaac Emmett, all of Royston; and grandparents, Randy and Lana Gordon of Comer and Annette Emmett of Commerce.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Abigail Emmett and grandfather, Roy Emmett.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, at 2 o'clock in Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the residence on Cook Street in Royston and will receive friends at Deep Creek Baptist Church from 12:00-1:30p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
