Emily Fain Barden

Mrs. Emily Olivia Fain Barden, 64, of Elberton, GA, passed away suddenly Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Barden was the daughter of Mrs. Cynthia Alice Collins Fain and the late William Fred Fain, Jr. She was the widow of Mr. Richard H. Barden, who passed away in June of 2011. Mrs. Barden is survived by a son, Shannon Barden; her mother, Cynthia Fain; a sister, Patti (Ken) Friar of Duluth, Georgia and a granddaughter Rhiannon Barden.Emily was preceded in death in addition to her husband and father by two sisters Carolyn Eileen Fain and Sheila Ann Reese. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home.A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00-3:00p.m. just prior to the service.Interment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery.
