Erma Jean Taylor Butler

Erma Jean Taylor Butler, 85, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011 with her family at her side. Mrs. Butler was born June 5, 1925, in Elbert County, Ga.She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Stratton Taylor. Mrs. Butler is survived by a son, Herman (Linda) Butler of Easley, SC; granddaughter, Lisa Bateman of Greenville, SC; and a great-granddaughter, Nicole Bateman.She is also survived by sisters:Anna Lou Tyner of Honea Path, SC, and Thelma Koernert of Charlotte, NC.Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her sister, Willene Taylor, and a brother, Joel Taylor. A funeral service celebrating Mrs. Butler’s life will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church in Calhoun Falls, SC.Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m prior to the service at the church.
