Ernest Miller Eades

Ernest Miller Eades, 77, of 1041 Country Club Road, Elberton, widower of the late Peggy Sue Beasley Eades passed away Monday March 21, 2011 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Oglethorpe County, October 15, 1933, he was a son of the late John Frank Eades and Margie Holiday Eades. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Security guard from Glen Raven Mills. Left to cherish his memory include a sister and brother-in-law Dora and Donnie Carroll, sisters and brothers-in-law Norma Jean Pulliam, Dorothy and Mike Temple, and Bob and Julia Erwin. Mr. Eades was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby Joe Eades and John Tyler Eades. Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a celebration honoring his life Wednesday March 23, at 2PM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas Huff officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 7-9PM Tuesday night at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Bob Erwin, Mike Erwin, Franklin Eades, Danny Eades, and Tom Kidd. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605-3007.
