Mrs. Ernestine "Tenny" Gunter Hall, age 79, of Hickory Drive, Elberton, wife of 29 years to the late William Arthur Hall, ended her journey of life on Saturday, December 27, 2014, to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Born on February 15, 1935, in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lucy Mae Smith Gunter. She was a faithful member of West End Baptist Church and retired from Elbert Memorial Hospital Dietary Department. Ernestine was blessed with four children: Freida Fortson and Robert of Tignall, GA, Seretha Worley of Williamston, SC, Eddy Hall and Mary of Lexington, GA, and Danny Hall and Melissa of Elberton, GA. She is also survived by her wonderful grandchildren: Zeb Worley and Pam, Justin Fortson and Amanda, Audrey Justice and Jimmy, Luke Hall, Michelle Ouzts, Jill Smith, and Tubby Worley; three special great-grandchildren: Will Fortson, Charlie Fortson, and ZJ Worley; and special friend, Frances Moss. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, at 2:00p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Fife officiating. Private burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family is at the residence on Hickory Drive and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Monday evening.
