Ethan Allen White

Mr. Ethan Allen White, 47, of Bowman, GA passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

Mr. White was born on June 9, 1973, in Franklin County, GA to Joe Raymond White and Elizabeth Ann King White. He spent his youth growing up in Sandy Cross, GA before moving to Bowman, GA in early adulthood. Ethan’s two passions in life involved hunting and working on anything that required a motor. These two skills bonded Ethan and his father and even more so after Ethan’s mother passed away when he was 11 years old. Ethan was well known for being laid back and doing life on his own terms. This was a trait he continued to carry with him even through the last 18 months of his life after being diagnosed with lung and brain cancer.

Ethan is survived by his father, Joe White of Bowman, GA; siblings: Courtland (Cynthia) Grizzle of Bowman, GA and Autumn (Chad) Craig of Mt. Pleasant, TN; special ‘Sis’, Amy Williams of Royston, GA; his beloved friend, Marsha Pledger; nephews: Jessie (Katherine) Grizzle and Justin Brown; nieces: Joelie (Brennan)West, Nikki (Jason) Neal, Kaitlyn (Jeremy) Justice, and Ashley Brown; aunts: Dianne Osornio, Virginia (Doak) Dingler, Nancy (Howard) Heaton, Jan Mallory, and Shelby J. Herring

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his stepmother, Tillie White; paternal grandparents, Allen and Sara White; and maternal grandparents, Morris and Lois King.

Visitation with the family will be held at Berry Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, from 6:00-8:00p.m. Burial will be private in Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman, GA.
