Eugene Fed Tucker

Mr. Eugene Fed Tucker, 61, of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina passed away at his home Friday, December 2, 2011. Mr. Tucker was the son of the late Benjamin Beauregard and Sara Louise Ellenberg Tucker. He served in the United States Air Force after graduating from Elbert County High School. He was formerly employed by Burlington Manufacturing as a weaver. Including his parents Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Herman Tucker, and a sister, Mary Tucker. He is survived by three sisters:Louise (James) Black of Elberton, Christine Massey of Summerfield, FL,and Judy Nutt of Duluth, GA;and one brother Daniel (Ann) Tucker of Elberton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Tucker will be held Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. just prior to the service.Interment will be at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery, Antreville, S.C. Many people will hold fond memories of Mr. Tucker as having a big heart,loving antique cars,and sharing a wealth of historical knowledge about Elbert County.
