Eunice Sorrells Seymour

Eunice Sorrells Seymour, 94, of 651 Rhodes Drive, Elberton, formerly of 1483 Hartwell Highway, widow of the late General Mike Seymour passed away Wednesday July 27, 2011. Born in Elbert County April 3, 1917, she was a daughter of the late N.B. Sorrells and Pink Wilson Sorrells. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Left to cherish her memories include her sons and daughters-in-law General Edward and Ann Seymour of Orting, WA, and Wayne Michael and Patty Seymour of Dewy Rose, GA, and three grandchildren. A Celebration of her life will be held Tuesday August 2, at 10AM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Kellum officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Monday night at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in her honor to a charity of ones choice.
