Eva Boswell Saxon

Mrs. Eva Boswell Saxon, 75, of Elberton Rd. Carlton, GA wife of Hubert Saxon passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Saxon was born February 24, 1940 in Greenwood, SC to the late Dallas Boswell and Montine Smith Boswell. She was a member of Vesta Baptist Church, a homemaker and had previously worked in the textile industry at Rhoda Lee. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Hubert Saxon of the home, sons and daughters-in-law Andy and Pam Saxon, Anthony "Bounce" and Wanda Saxon, Mike and Tina Saxon all of Carlton, GA; siblings William Boswell of Elberton, GA; Sidney Jean Boswell Scarborough of Elberton, GA; Peggy Boswell Phillips of Greenwood, SC; Shirley Boswell Hendricks of Watkinsville, GA; grandchildren Constance and Justin Reid, Jennifer and Johnathan Davis, Jenna Saxon, Kayci Saxon, Erica Saxon; great-grandchildren Hailey Davis Morgan Davis and Lincoln Wade. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Darlene Boswell Bray, George Calvin Boswell, Gladell Boswell Gabriel, Wilda Boswell and Edith Boswell. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Wednesday September 2 at Vesta Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Bruce officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Tony Evans, Bill Boswell, Darrell Gabriel, Steve Evans, Kyle Scarborough and Doug Saxon serving as pallbearers. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday night at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in her honor to Vesta Baptist Church.
