Eva Bradford Rucker

Mrs. Eva Bradford Rucker, 72, of Jaudon Rd., Elberton wife of the late George Dixon Rucker passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Rucker was born December 26, 1942 in Forest, MS to the late Zeb Bradford and Marie Bryant Bradford. She was a member of Falling Creek Baptist Church and was a seamstress from Elberton MFG. Left to cherish her memories are sons and daughters-in-law William and Tami Rucker of Elberton, GA; Keith and Martha Rucker of Elberton, GA; David and Casey Rucker of Rock Hill, SC; brother Billy Bradford of Forest, MS; sister Betty Kellum of AL; brother and sisters-in-law George and Beth Harrison, Ruth Rucker; three granddaughters; five grandsons; four great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Friday November 6, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Jack McVeigh officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Bubba Childs, Wayne Childs, Rusty Childs, Tim Fowler, Marty Motes and Edward Milton serving as pallbearers. The family is at the home 1624 Jaudon Rd. Elberton and will receive friends from 12-2PM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
