Mrs. Evelyn Johnson Bunch, 99, of Hulin Avenue, Tignall, wife of the late WIlliam Thomas "W.T." Bunch, entered into rest Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at her daughter's home. Mrs. Bunch was born in Wilkes County, March 20, 1914, to the late Milton and Addie Seymour Johnson. She was a seamstress, homemaker, member of Wilkes County Baptist Church, and a former member of Mallorysville Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Mary Bunch Yeargin Scarborough and her husband Cecil of Elberton; grandchildren, Andy Yeargin and his wife Amy, Bill Yeargin and his wife Kim, and Kylie Yeargin, all of Elberton; four great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, and son-in-law, Dallas Yeargin. Graveside services celebrating her life will be held Friday, March 29, at 2:00PM in the Mallorysville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dewey Mallory officiating. Friends and family are asked to assemble at the cemetery at 1:50PM. Pallbearers will include Bill Yeargin, Dallas Yeargin, Robby King, Sammy Scarborough, Shane Scarborough, Brandon Scarborough, and Reid Scarborough. The family is at the residence of Cecil and Mary Scarborough, 1901Washington Highway, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 11:00AM-12:00Noon Friday. Flowers are optional and contributions may be made to the Mallorysville Baptist Church, 199 Bunch Road, Tignall, Georgia.
