Fannie McDowell

Fannie Ruth Brown McDowell, 97, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at her home, 170 Herndon Circle, Bowman, Georgia. Mrs. McDowell was the daughter of the late Dempsey Brown and Janie Lunsford Brown and the wife of the late Johnson Haley McDowell. Mrs. McDowell is survived by sons:Pat McDowell, Billy McDowell, Ronnie McDowell, daughters: Laverne Massey, Barbara Webb and Linda Scott. Mrs. McDowell leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by son Kenneth McDowell, nine brothers and one sister. The service for Mrs. McDowell will be Monday, February 14, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m.Burial will be at the Rehobath Baptist Church Cemetery.
