Faye Smith

Mrs. Faye Smith, 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021. Born December 1,1946 in Manilla, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Jose Victa Flores and Marta Atienza Flores. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Chief Leon Smith; children: Sharon, Sybil, Arnold, and Samantha; and grandchildren: Natasha, Keizer, Kays, Giavonni, John Allen, Nicholas, Evan, and Vivian. She is also survived by her sisters: Myrla, Joy, and Ann. While attending school she enjoyed playing softball and volleyball, with bowling becoming her sport of choice in her later years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband as they camped or to visit family in San Diego, enjoying food and music along the way. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Teresa Lilja officiating. Arrangements for Mrs. Faye Smith were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
