Ferron Tyrone Cox

Mr. Ferron Tyrone Cox, 47, of Dewy Rose, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his sister’s residence.Ferron was born in Thomson, Georgia, the son of Nina Sue Dickerson Lunceford and the late Lindsey Henderson Cox.Ferron was an auto mechanic. He loved children and collected all kinds of collectibles as well as antiques.He loved his family and he was loved by his family. Survivors include his mother, Sue Lunceford, of Dewy Rose; two daughters, Madison Cox and Hannah Cox; one son and daughter-in-law, Quentin and Nealey Cox; and two grandchildren, Sebastian and Damian Cox. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Crystal Cox; one brother, Johnny Price and his wife Tina; three sisters, Donna McCurley and her husband Emory, Tammy Lovell, and Crystal Brown. Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, with Sister Brenda Lunsford Vandiver officiating.Interment followed in the Forest Hills Memorial Park with Branden Lovell, Ron Childs, Michael House, Blake Turner, Jared Beckham and Dean Gillespie serving as pallbearers.Visitation was held on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
