Frances Bell Hudson

Frances Bell Hudson, 97, of 2358 Hudson Rd., Elberton, widow of Albert R. Hudson, Jr., died Wed. Oct. 14, 2009. Born in Elbert County, GA., she was a daughter of the late, Henry A. Bell Sr. and Marietta Dye Bell. She was a homemaker and was a member of Fortsonia Baptist Church. Survivors include: son and daughter-n-law, Donald and Elizabeth Hudson Sr., or Elberton. Brother: Hubert J. Bell Sr. of Elberton. Grandchildren: Sheila and Tex Finley, Donnie and Anita Hudson, and Billy and Donna Hudson. Great-grandchildren: Chris and Wendy Hudson, Amanda and Justin Fortson, Wade Johnson and Candice Johnson. Great-greatgrandchildren: Jackson Hudson, Mattison Hudson, Will Fortson, and Charles Fortson. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday Oct. 16 at Fortsonia Community Cemetery, Elberton. Rev. Connie Ivester will officiate. The family will be at the home of Donald and Elizabeth Hudson, 2368 Hudson Road, Elberton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday night at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to TJ & Friends Foundation, 1675 Deep Creek Rd., Dewy Rose, GA. 30634.
