Frances Hazel Price Payton

Frances Hazel Price Payton, 84 of 1028 Ridgeway Road Elberton GA., widow of Huford Payton died Sunday June 27, 2010. Born in Hart County, she was a daughter of the late William M. Price and Maggie Hendrix Price Johnson. She was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church, a member of the Women's Missionary Union and a Homemaker. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Angela Payton of Elberton, GA., son Keith Payton of Elberton GA., Granddaughter Kristen Payton of Elberton GA. She was preceded in death by sisters: Anna Johnson, Opal Johnson, Mattie Welborn and brothers: Charlie Price, Pennic Price, James "Booty" Price, Monroe Price, and Benson Price. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 29, 2010 at 11 AM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Kellum officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 9 to 11 AM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Berry Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Frances "Hazel" Price Payton.
