Frances McCannon Treadwell

Frances McCannon Treadwell, 66, of Carlton, Ga., entered into rest on Saturday, September 28, 2012. Born on March 20, 1946 in Wilkes County, she was a daughter of the late George McCannon, Sr. and Dollie Lee Cassie McCannon.She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings; George McCannon, Jr., William McCannon, Thomas McCannon and Hallie Hubbard. Survivors include her sister; Mary P. Mattox, of Carlton, Ga., neices; Josephine (Bobby) Parker of Nicholson, Rose (Ricky) Bruce of Carlton, Sherri (Jesse) Dunson of Tignall, nephew Troy (Rhonda) McCannon of Elberton. Several other nieces, nephews and friends also survive. A graveside service was held at Palmetto Cemetery in Carlton, Ga. at 2:00 p.m., Sunday September 30, 2012.
