Mr. Frank Alexander Fleming, 91, of Dewy Rose, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Spring Valley Nursing Center. Mr. Fleming was born in Elbert County, son of the late Oscar L. and Annie Hewell Fleming.He and his wife, Floy Gilbert Fleming, celebrated over 67 years of marriage together. Mr. Fleming was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II.He worked all his life as a stone polisher in the granite industry. Mr. Fleming is survived by his wife, Floy Gilbert Fleming of the home;a daughter, Sandra Brady and her husband, Richard; and three sons: Len Fleming and his wife Lori, Donny Fleming and his wife Pam, and Tony Fleming.He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Fleming; a brother, Hewell D. Fleming; and a daughter-in-law, Nancy Fleming. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Fleming’s life was held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev.
