Frankie "Jackie" Rice Robinson

Frankie "Jackie" Rice Robinson, 74, of 435 Aderhold Road, Carnesville, Georgia passed away Friday, August 31, 2012, at her home with her family by her side. Born in Buladean, North Carolina, November 13, 1937, to the late Fred William Rice and Ruth Mae Berry Rice, she was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are children and son-in-laws Bobbie Dee Lamberson-Poston and Scott Poston of Carnesville, Georgia; Barbara "Barbi" and Clay Hulse of Comer, Georgia; Bonnie Dee Long of Kouts, Indiana; Brendalee Dee Long of Hohenwald, Tennessee; siblings Ida Flores and Brown Rice all of Adrian, Michigan; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children Victor LeRoy Long, son Billy Dee Long, brother Ben Rice, sisters Eunice Caldwell, Thelma Hernandez and Lily Phillips and niece Tammy Early. Following a private family gathering at Berry Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, Mrs. Robinson will be cremated. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date and burial will be in the Berry Family Cemetery in Carter County Tennessee.
