Frederick Judd Wheeler

Mr. Frederick Judd Wheeler, 78, of N. West Street, Greensboro, husband of the late Brenda Elizabeth James Wheeler, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mr. Wheeler was born in Athens on July 12, 1942, son of the late Benjamin Nathan Wheeler and Ethel Flora Martin Wheeler. He was a retired painter and carpenter, and a member of Mt. Stephens Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children: Angelo Wheeler of Athens, Gwen Wheeler of SC, Wendy Price of Comer, DJ Wheeler of Thomson, David Wheeler of Cumming, and Brittany Wheeler of Athens; siblings: Gloriann Fouche of Athens and Donnie James Wheeler of Greensboro; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Vivian Wheeler, Nathan Wheeler, Frances Hulsey Mathis, and Jabo Wheeler.
