Gene Fleeman

Mr. Talmadge Eugene “Gene” Fleeman, Sr., 80, of Waterloo, SC formerly of Elberton, GA passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020.

Mr. Fleeman was born April 11, 1940 in Franklin County, GA to Odis Carl Fleeman and Ella Mae Jackson Fleeman. He was a the former owner-operator of Fleeman Granite, B&G Granite and Douglasville Monuments. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: BJ and Seal Burton of Elberton, GA, Melissa and Pete Anagnost of Greenwood, SC, Eugenia Fleeman of Waterloo, SC, Lonna Mae and Danny Craven of Waterloo, SC, sons and daughters-in-law: Frankie and Kim Morris of Elberton, GA, Mike Fleeman of Anderson, SC, Jamie and Kendall Fleeman of Rochelle, GA, William Eugene “Billy” Fleeman of Atlanta, GA, siblings: Shirley Fleeman of Lavonia, GA, J.W. Fleeman of Royston, GA, Henry Fleeman of Ila, GA and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Philyaw Fleeman, son: Talmadge Eugene “Geno” Fleeman, Jr., daughter: Sherry Herrin, brothers: Thomas Fleeman and Odis Junior Fleeman.

The family will receive friends from 2PM-4PM Saturday, August 29 at Berry Funeral Home and memorial services will be held at a later date in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Flowers will be accepted and for anyone who wishes to have them delivered to Berry Funeral Home.
