Mrs. Mildred Geneva Dunn Booth, 76, of Sand Hill Road, Bowman, wife of the late Kermit R. Booth, Jr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Athens Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.
Mrs. Booth was born in Elbert County on January 17, 1940, to the late George Thomas Dunn, Sr. and Ida Mildred Mathis Dunn. She was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church and retired from Seaboard Farms after 30 years of service.
Surviving are her sons: Kermit R. Booth, III and Renee and Greg Booth and Melanie, all of Bowman; siblings: Barbara McPherson of Elberton and George Dunn, Jr. of Abbeville, SC; grandchildren: Bridgette, Brooke, Lance, Cory, Kerri, Jacob, and Kyle; great-grandchildren: Emma, Savannah, Patrick, Carson, Bethany, Natalie, Kaylein, and Raylan; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Christopher "Chris" Dunn.
The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday, May 26. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Friday, May 27, at 11:00a.m. at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at 2:30p.m. in Booth Memorial Park in Statham, GA.
Mrs. Booth will be placed in the church at 10:00a.m. to lie instate until the service hour.
